The beginnings of the STYLLEX Motorsport team date back to 1983, when racers and motor sport enthusiasts, brothers Peter and Michal Koči, founded RTK & spol. (Racing Team Koči a spol.). The team was not renamed STYLLEX Motorsport until 1991.
In the team’s early years, several riders, including Peter Koči, were racing behind the wheel. Michal Koči, the long-standing team manager, sat in the passenger seat until 1999.
The STYLLEX team has raised and supported many young talents and brought Slovak motorsport to the world stage in various ways, including being:
- the only Slovak team to date to participate in the complete Junior World Rally Championship series, and
- the first Slovak team to participate in the European Championships.
Without doubt, STYLLEX Motorsport remains the most successful team in the history of Slovak relays. The Team’s crews have been awarded the title of absolute champion 8 times.
STYLLEX Motorsport is proud to have been represented by names such as: Yves Loubet, Jozef Béreš, Petr Starý and Jozef Béreš.
Today, the family brand, with a long tradition of racing, is proudly represented by the young and hopeful competitor, the son of Michal Koči - Martin Koči.
